The kitchen, bathrooms and shower rooms were very clean. I liked the coded door locks and the great system of boxes to store items in the fridge The place was very quiet and other guests were extremely well behaved - not a party place!

Great guest house with really welcoming host. Very clean and tidy place and the bed was very comfortable. Shared bathrooms but kept immaculate and great shower. Fantastic kitchen dinning area with lots of space and free tea and coffee. Lovely living area too and liked the property security used to enter the building and the room.

Quite and that’s why I didn’t ticked anything under the question (how was the stuff?) because there was no stuff and that’s the beauty of it. You check yourself in and enjoy your staying. Check yourself out and you don’t see anyone. I know they are there but you don’t see them . Anyways this is my second time and they have step up since then. This is my place to stay in Maunganui every time. Keep up the good work guys.

Too easy. Convenient door access via my phone for both main door and room door. Bathroom sharing was a non issue. I arrived around 4pm and went directly to the shower. Walkable distance to dinner and the beach. Bed was comfortable and was handy having a basin in the room.

Very clean and well maintained. Good amenities for the age and style. Well managed and management/staff happy to help or advise on anything. Easy (but hot) walk to main Mount facilities. Brilliantly close to Bay Oval.

The room was very clean, decently updated amenities for the price. I always appreciate a clean bathroom and there was a lot of space to spread out for a budget room. The kitchenette was useful too! And I love a quiet location, which this was.

The entire property was warm and welcoming, loved that we could check in at our own time through the coding system, Staff were helpful and friendly - Bed was comfortable and I loved that our room had its own aircon/heat pump. Despite the fact that our room had its own bathroom I did use the guest bathrooms and they were clean and tidy and positioned well through the accommodation so it's not a far walk to the shared bathrooms wherever your room is for the rooms with no bathroom facilities. A late booking due to accom issues. Our Hosts welcomed us and then upgraded us, so that the other rooms I had booked could all be together. Fabulous accommodation and if we get the chance, then we will definitely come again.

It was a bit strange at first to have a completely unpersonal check in just by door code. It worked great however. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and tidy. Large shared kitchen area and guest lounge with books, games, TV and DVDs. Plenty of parking available. I liked my stay and would come again.

Location was quite far away from city centre (3 km) but the walk was nice. Beach was near-ish, 15 min walk. So if you don't mind walking like me or you have a car, I do recommend. The room was more than great, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Also check-in and check-out, and using phone app as your key were so convinient. Had a lovely stay here.
